Blues and wine tasting at Santa Maria della Scala next weekend

The museum complex Santa Maria della Scala in Siena oftne guests events, meetings, workshops and live performances. Next Saturday, the 19th of February, there is a special date not only for music lovers: at Sala S.Pio will takes place the concert of Shana Morrison, beautiful blues singer that followed her’s father footsteps.
Her father, in fact, is Van Morrison, one of the rock icons that is still active and acclaimed all over the world, that passed her the passion for folk, blues and jazz music, a precious blend that only a velvet voice can enhance. Shana Morrison will play in Siena for the event “Music at Scala”, with a backing band really “made in Tuscany”.
They are the Lou & The Blues, that palyed with Shana during a tour in the Usa, they are a band fomed by the guitarist Lou Leonardi and Matteo Addabbo at hammond, Gianni Cerone at drums, Piero Paolini at sax and Giulia Galliani chorist. A winning comnbination, in a great set like Santa Maria della Scala, a location where culture is above all sharing and involvement.
Before the concert will be a tasting of enogastronomical products at 8:00 pm, to prepare yourself to the wonders of the blues played live on stage. Directly from the sunny California, the scathing and sweet voice at the same time of Shana Morrison will give the best thanks to the bkuesmen of the green Tuscany, a bit of Mediterranean inside Afro-American music.
